Who is leading the workshops: My name is Dani Marrero Hi, and I am simply a community member in the Rio Grande Valley who has experience in using social media and online tools for social change. I want to share my experience and knowledge with other community members to empower them and help make organizations in the Rio Grande Valley stronger, more effective, and unafraid to use online tools. Previously, I have worked with La Unión del Pueblo Entero, Aquí Estamos, United We Dream, and USA Today College. I have also presented at conferences across the nation on LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, and queer) activism and topics.
